Hugh B. Wood was Professor Emeritus of the University of Oregon's College of Education and a specialist in curriculum development. Collection includes papers, 1967-1968, reflecting Woods' involvement in the College of Education's international education program and teacher development program, as well as his interests in vocational education in Oregon. Correspondence, program guides to U.S. teachers colleges, and course syllabi document Wood's tour of education programs at U.S. colleges, 1967-1968, and the early development of an international education consortium among U.S. colleges. Collection includes international student files that are closed to research.

Hugh Bernard Wood (1909-1995) was Professor Emeritus of the University of Oregon's College of Education. Wood was a specialist in curriculum development and served on local, state, national and international commissions for curriculum improvement. In 1955 Hugh and Helen Wood founded the American Nepal Education Foundation.
